Do you want to register a firm in KPK? This guide makes it easy to understand. When two or more people become business partners and agree to share profit, loss, and duties, they must sign a partnership agreement. After registration, the business becomes legal.
Benefits of Firm Registration
Registering your firm offers more than just legal status. It gives:
- Legal permission to do business
- Access to bank loans and financial services
- Ability to sign contracts legally
- Increased trust and transparency
- Better business image for clients and banks
- Protection for all partners involved
Step-by-Step Firm Registration in KPK
1. Submit Form A
This is the main application form. It includes:
- Name and address of the firm
- Details of all partners
- Duration of the business
- Signatures of partners and two witnesses
2. Write a Partnership Deed
- Write the deed in English on a Rs. 500 stamp paper
- All partners and two witnesses must sign it
- A Notary Public must verify the document
- The signing date and stamp date must match
- Submit both original and re-attested copy
3. Submit CNIC Copies
All partners and witnesses must give:
- Original CNIC for verification
- Clear copies of both sides of CNICs
- Self-signed (attested) copies
This confirms everyone’s identity and ensures the registration is legal.
4. Pay the Treasury Challan
You must pay Rs. 5,000 through the State Bank of Pakistan or National Bank using the code CO3545.
- Collect challan form from the bank
- Clearly write the challan code
- Attach the original paid challan with your documents
- Keep extra copies for your records
5. Prepare an Affidavit
The partners must sign an affidavit confirming:
- The firm name is unique
- Partners are the real owners
- No legal case is pending against the firm or partners
- All documents are true
- The registrar is not responsible for issues in other government offices
Have this affidavit signed by partners and witnesses, and get it attested by a Notary Public.
6. Attach Notary’s License Copy
- All documents must be verified by a licensed Notary
- Attach a valid, up-to-date copy of the Notary’s license
- If the license is expired, your registration will be rejected
Always check license validity before attestation.
7. Biometric Verification via E-Sahulat
Each partner must visit an E-Sahulat Center with their original CNIC.
- The staff will scan fingerprints and verify identity
- This step links the registration with verified people
- It prevents fraud and makes your record secure
This verification becomes part of your registration file.
8. Apply Online
Go to http://apps.kpitb.gov.pk/eodb/.
- Create an account
- Submit your documents online
- After approval, appear in person for signature and thumbprint
- You’ll receive Form H, the official registration document
Important: Total Registration Costs

- Lawyer’s fees for document preparation
So, plan your budget accordingly.
